Once upon a time, I lived in the jungle of Belize and I did some pretty interesting things. Interesting enough, I though, to start a blog about my adventures.
Other people seemed to agree, too!
I enjoyed writing about my days doing laundry in the river, taking my special needs chicken on day trips, hitchhiking barefoot down the Hummingbird Highway, meeting lots of amazing people and going to lots of amazing places....
But life has changed so many times since then - geez, I was in Belize for another 6 years after I left the jungle, I spent almost a full year visiting friends and pet sitting all over the US before moving to Honduras, where I was for 2 years until Covid showed up and gave me another unexpected life change. I ended up moving to Atlanta and became a live-in dog nanny and housekeeper for about 9 months and now, here I am. As of this day, I've been back in good ol Bucks County, PA for 8.5 months.
Now - the point of this post.... I've really missed writing!! Every time I get on my laptop and open up this page to make changes to my website, I've been prompted to add a blog to it... So. Here we are! I have no idea what I'll be writing about, but I'm going to be totally honest and transparent with everyone - my intention is to figure out how to eventually use this to generate some extra income (I'll be trying to learn about affiliate marketing, how to get paid for advertisements, etc)
It's been years since I've written/blogged so just bear with me while I try to figure this out, and if you have any suggestions about what I should write about, how I can make some "extra" money, products you'd like to see sold through my site, or anything pet/business related at all, please let me know!
